A focused 7-day wildlife and heritage circuit for travellers who want genuine safari time at Ranthambhore alongside Jaipur's royal forts and Bharatpur's celebrated bird sanctuary, all within a single, well-paced week from Delhi.

The tour opens with two days in Delhi — Chandni Chowk, the Red Fort, India Gate, and Humayun's Tomb — before continuing to Jaipur for a full day exploring the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal, with the option of an evening at Chokhi Dhani village or shopping in Johri Bazaar.

From Jaipur, the route continues to Amber Fort before driving on to Ranthambhore National Park for two full days, including a dawn jeep or canter safari and the option of a second afternoon safari, plus a visit to the hilltop Ranthambhore Fort overlooking the reserve.

The tour concludes with a stop at Bharatpur's Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary — explored by bicycle or cycle rickshaw amid over 350 species of resident and migratory birds — before a final day taking in the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort en route back to Delhi for departure.

Your questions, answered

No — this itinerary's route is Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambhore, Bharatpur, and Agra, all within Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh; it does not include Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. (An earlier version of this listing carried a stray reference to Corbett, which was a template labelling error rather than an actual stop on the itinerary — we've corrected this here.)

Both are 6-night, 7-day itineraries covering Delhi, Jaipur, and Ranthambhore, but this version visits Bharatpur's Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary and ends with the Taj Mahal as the closing highlight before returning to Delhi, while our Taj & Tiger Tour visits Agra and the Taj Mahal earlier in the trip (Day 3) and finishes in Jaipur. Choose this version if you'd prefer the Taj Mahal as your final, memorable stop rather than an early one.

Absolutely. Every Discover India tour is fully private and built around your preferences. We can add Sariska, extend Ranthambhore, or adjust the order of destinations. Submit an enquiry and our specialists will tailor it for you at no obligation.

October to March is ideal — comfortable temperatures (15–28°C), clear skies, and the best conditions for sightseeing, fort treks, and wildlife safaris. April–June brings intense heat (up to 45°C); July–September is monsoon, with some relief from the heat but reduced safari access in the tiger reserves.
