The World's Most Famous Monument and Two Full Days of Tiger Safaris
A compact 7-day combination for travellers with limited time who still want to experience two of India's unmissable highlights — the Taj Mahal and a genuine tiger safari — without an overly long itinerary.
The tour opens with two days in Delhi, covering Old and New Delhi's landmarks — Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, and Qutub Minar — before continuing to Agra for the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Sikandra's Akbar's Tomb.
From Agra, the route turns directly to Ranthambhore National Park, with Bharatpur's bird sanctuary visited en route. Two full days at Ranthambhore include dawn and afternoon jeep safaris, a visit to the hilltop Ranthambhore Fort, and genuine, unhurried time in one of India's premier tiger reserves.
The tour concludes with a single but full day in Jaipur — the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal — before the drive back to Delhi for departure, making this an efficient yet substantive introduction to both Mughal heritage and Indian wildlife.

Namaste! Welcome to India. On arrival at Delhi International Airport, you'll be met by our representative and driven in a private chauffeur-driven car to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest and recover after your flight.
A full day touring Old and New Delhi with your guide. Hop in a rickshaw to explore Chandni Chowk market, Jama Masjid, and the Red Fort, sampling local delicacies at some of the market's oldest food stalls. Continue to New Delhi to see India Gate, drive past Parliament House and the President's House, and visit Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar.
Drive to Agra by car via the Yamuna Expressway (210 km, ~4 hrs), with a stop midway for refreshments at your own cost. Arrive in the afternoon and check in. After some rest, begin sightseeing with the Taj Mahal — one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Continue to Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Sikandra — the tomb of Emperor Akbar.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Ranthambhore National Park (250 km, ~5 hrs). En route, stop at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary — hire a bicycle or cycle rickshaw to explore the park's wetlands, home to over 350 species of indigenous and migratory birds. Continue to Ranthambhore, arriving in the evening, and check in to your hotel to relax.
An early-morning safari (by canter or jeep with a naturalist, subject to availability) into the jungles of Ranthambhore National Park — striped hyenas, flying foxes, rat snakes, black bucks, panthers, chital, and wild boar are all possible sightings, along with the chance of a Bengal tiger if luck is on your side. The safari takes approximately 3 hours. Return to the hotel for breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool or with a book — or opt for a second, afternoon safari into the park.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaipur (250 km, ~5 hrs). Arrive and check in. Afternoon city tour: the City Palace Complex, including Badal Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Sarvato Bhadra, Diwan-i-Am, and Mubarak Mahal; Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century astronomical observatory next to the City Palace; and the iconic Hawa Mahal, the five-storey 'Palace of Winds' with 953 small windows. Return to the hotel in the evening.
After breakfast, check out and visit Amber Fort — built by Raja Man Singh I in the 16th century, 11 km from Jaipur, constructed in white and red sandstone in a fusion of Hindu and Rajput architectural styles. See the Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, and Diwan-e-Khas. On the way out, stop for photos at Jal Mahal, the Water Palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Drive to Delhi (250 km, ~5 hrs) and transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Tour concludes.

No — despite some earlier marketing references to Sariska, this particular 6-night itinerary's actual day-by-day route covers Delhi, Agra, Ranthambhore, and Jaipur only, with Bharatpur's bird sanctuary visited en route between Agra and Ranthambhore. Safari vehicle fees, park entrance fees, and camera charges are not included in the base package price and are payable locally, subject to availability and forest department permit allocation.
