Namaste! Welcome to West Bengal. Depart Kolkata by road toward Kakdwip (approximately 110 km, ~3 hours), followed by a ferry crossing to Sagar Island. On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Kapil Muni Temple for darshan, and walk along Gangasagar's beach as evening rituals begin along the shore.
An early sunrise visit to the confluence for a holy dip, considered one of the most spiritually significant rituals in Hindu pilgrimage tradition. After breakfast, explore Sagar Island further, including its lighthouse and quieter coastal stretches. Time permitting, visit Henry's Island, known for its tranquil beaches and fish farms, a peaceful contrast to the pilgrimage town itself.
A final morning visit to the Kapil Muni Temple before checking out. Take the ferry back to the mainland and drive to Kolkata (approximately 110 km, ~3 hours), arriving by early afternoon. Tour concludes.
