Namaste! Welcome to West Bengal's coast. Depart Kolkata by road for Digha (approximately 185 km, ~4-4.5 hours). On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Digha's Marine Science Centre and Aquarium, followed by an evening walk along the main beach as the town's fishing boats return for the day.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Mandarmani (approximately 30 km, ~1 hour) — argued to be the longest drive-in beach in India at 13 km. On arrival, check in to your resort. Spend the afternoon walking the beach at low tide, when Mandarmani's distinctive red crabs scatter visibly across the sand, and enjoy a relaxed evening by the shore with fresh Bay of Bengal seafood.
After breakfast, a half-day excursion to Tajpur (approximately 20 km, ~30-40 minutes), the most secluded of the three beaches, known for its striking red-soil dunes and a noticeably quieter atmosphere than either Digha or Mandarmani. Return to Mandarmani in the afternoon, with the rest of the day free to relax on the beach or by the resort pool.
A relaxed final morning on the beach before checking out. Drive back to Kolkata (approximately 200 km, ~4.5-5 hours) for your departure flight. Tour concludes.
