India's Southernmost Point, and Kerala's Most Celebrated Beach

A compact 4-day coastal escape pairing two of South India's most distinctive shorelines — Kanyakumari, the very tip of the Indian subcontinent where three seas meet, and Kovalam, Kerala's most famous crescent beach, both within easy reach of Thiruvananthapuram.

The tour opens with the drive to Kanyakumari, visiting the Kanyakumari Amman Temple and, time permitting, a ferry to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue just offshore, before the much-photographed sunset over the meeting point of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean.

From Kanyakumari, the route continues into Kerala to Kovalam, where the Arabian Sea breaks beneath a red-and-white lighthouse against pristine crescent sands — two full days here allow proper time to simply unwind, swim, or browse the beachfront cafés and shops.

A short, relaxed escape ideal for travellers wanting a brief but genuinely memorable taste of India's southern coastline without a longer commitment.

October to March offers the most comfortable temperatures (15–28°C) for the ghats, boat rides, and temple queues. April–June is hot on the Gangetic plain (up to 42°C); the monsoon (July–September) raises the Ganges considerably, which can affect ghat access in both cities.
