A genuinely relaxed 7-day beach holiday along Kerala's southern coast, moving between three distinct stretches of shore without a single forced sightseeing day — Marari's working fishing village, Poovar's lagoon-fringed sands, and Kovalam's famous crescent beaches.
The tour begins at Marari Beach, just south of Cochin — a quiet fishing village where life continues much as it has for a century, with palm groves backing a long, uncrowded stretch of sand. Two full nights here allow proper time to simply unwind, swim, or try the optional water sports on offer.
From Marari, the route continues south to Poovar — known for the unique point where the Neyyar River meets the Arabian Sea, framed by golden sand and backwater lagoons. An optional day trip to Kanyakumari, India's southernmost tip, is available here for travellers wanting a change of pace.
The tour concludes at Kovalam, one of Kerala's most famous beach destinations, where Arabian Sea waves break against pristine sand beneath a red-and-white lighthouse — with a half-day Trivandrum city tour, including the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, before the journey ends at Trivandrum Airport.

Arrive at Cochin Airport, meet our driver, and drive to Marari — a traditional fishing village where life continues much as it has for the past hundred years. Spend the rest of your day enjoying the beautiful, uncrowded Marari Beach.
A full day free at Marari Beach — relax on the sand, swim in the Arabian Sea, or try optional water sport activities arranged through your resort.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Poovar (200 km, ~4 hrs). On arrival, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore Poovar's beaches, where the Neyyar River meets the Arabian Sea amid a striking lagoon landscape.
A full day free at Poovar Beach — relax on the sand or try optional water sport activities. Optionally, take a day trip to Kanyakumari, India's southernmost tip, where the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean meet (at an additional cost).
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Kovalam (160 km, ~3 hrs). On arrival, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the beach at Kovalam, watching Arabian Sea waves break against the pristine sand.
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Trivandrum city. Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple — one of the wealthiest and most revered Vishnu temples in India — along with the Napier Museum, Horse Palace, and Art Gallery. Return to your hotel in the afternoon, with the rest of the day free to enjoy Kovalam's beach.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Trivandrum. You will be dropped at the airport for your flight onward. Tour concludes.

If you would like to add a backwater cruise through Alleppey, we can easily extend this itinerary by 1-2 days, or you may prefer our Rajasthan & Kerala tour, which includes an overnight Alleppey houseboat as part of a longer circuit.
