Rajasthan's Tiger Reserves, the Taj Mahal, and Corbett — India's Oldest National Park
A comprehensive 10-day circuit that spans two states and three of North India's most celebrated wildlife reserves — Sariska and Ranthambhore in Rajasthan, and Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand — alongside the essential heritage of Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra.
The tour opens with two days in Delhi before driving to Sariska National Park, an 800 sq km reserve in the Aravalli Hills where leopard, sambar, chital, nilgai, four-horned antelope, wild boar, rhesus macaque, langur, and hyena are all possible sightings on a jeep safari.
From Sariska, the route continues to Jaipur for a half-day of royal sightseeing, then to Ranthambhore National Park for two full days, including an early-morning jeep safari with a naturalist and the option of a second afternoon safari. Bharatpur's Keoladeo Ghana National Park is visited en route to Agra, where the Taj Mahal — best photographed at sunrise — and Agra Fort follow.
The tour's final chapter brings Corbett National Park, India's oldest national park, located near Ramnagar in Uttarakhand — two full days here include a jeep safari in search of the Royal Bengal Tiger and elephants, plus visits to the Corbett Museum, Corbett Falls, and the Garjia Mata Temple, before the drive back to Delhi for departure.

Namaste! Welcome to India. On arrival at Delhi International Airport, you'll be met by our representative and driven to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free to rest after your flight.
A full day touring Old and New Delhi. Explore Chandni Chowk market, Jama Masjid, and the Red Fort by rickshaw, sampling local delicacies from some of the market's oldest food stalls. Continue to New Delhi for India Gate, a drive past Parliament House and the President's House, and visits to Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Sariska National Park (200 km, ~5 hrs). Arrive and check in to your resort. In the afternoon, enjoy a 3-hour jeep safari deep into the park's 800 sq km of Aravalli Hills forest, where leopard, sambar, chital, nilgai, four-horned antelope, wild boar, rhesus macaque, langur, hyena, and jungle cats are all possible sightings, alongside numerous bird species.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Jaipur (110 km, ~3 hrs). Arrive and check in. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace Complex — a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture across a series of courtyards, gardens, and buildings — the Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar), Nawab Sahab ki Haveli, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), and Jal Mahal. Evening free to relax or for independent activities.
After breakfast, visit Amber Fort, with the option of an elephant ride up to the fort — a blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture, with the Sheesh Mahal (Chamber of Mirrors), Hall of Private and Public Audience, and Sukh Mandir. Also visit Jaigarh Fort on a hilltop overlooking Amber Fort, home to Jaivana, the world's biggest cannon on wheels. Afternoon drive to Ranthambhore National Park (180 km, ~3 hrs), arriving in the evening.
This day is reserved for an early-morning jeep safari into the national park. Your naturalist will collect you from the resort for the safari in an open gypsy. Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve is one of the largest parks in northern Rajasthan and home to a wide variety of wildlife and bird species — bears, leopards, baya weaver, bar-headed goose, deer, and, if you're fortunate, the Royal Bengal Tiger. After the safari, return to the hotel, with the rest of the day free for independent activities.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Agra, stopping en route at Bharatpur — the base for Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the best bird colonies in the world with over 230 recorded species. Enjoy a visit into the park by cycle rickshaw or bicycle. Continue the drive to Agra (250 km total, ~5 hrs), arriving in the evening and checking in to your hotel.
Early morning, visit the Taj Mahal — the most beautiful time to capture images of the monument of love with the changing shades of sunrise. After breakfast, check out and visit Agra Fort, containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience, and Akbar's Tomb. Later, begin the journey to Corbett National Park, located in Uttarakhand near Ramnagar (320 km, ~6 hrs). Arrive and check in to your hotel; evening free to relax or take a short jungle walk near the resort.
Early morning, enjoy a jeep safari into Corbett National Park — one of the best-managed and protected national parks in India, with many species of birds, wild animals, and flora. Corbett is famous for its Royal Bengal Tigers and elephants, and a jeep safari is the best way to discover the park's wildlife. After the safari, return to the resort. In the afternoon, visit the Corbett Museum, Corbett Falls, and the Garjia Mata Temple.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel/resort and drive to Delhi (300 km, ~6 hrs). On arrival, you will be dropped at Delhi Airport to board your flight back home, with everlasting memories of your wildlife vacation in India.

Yes — while Corbett sits in Uttarakhand rather than Rajasthan, the drive from Agra to Corbett (320 km, ~6 hrs) is entirely manageable as part of a single circuit, and many travellers find the contrast between Rajasthan's dry Aravalli forest reserves and Corbett's lush Himalayan foothill terrain a rewarding change of scenery partway through the trip.
September to March suits Sariska, Ranthambhore, and Agra well. Corbett's core zones (Dhikala) close from mid-June to mid-November during the monsoon breeding season, though several buffer zones remain open through most of the year. We recommend November to March for the most reliable access across all three wildlife reserves on this itinerary.
