Nine days that pair two of India's most compelling draws — its greatest Mughal monument and one of its finest tiger reserves — into a single, well-sequenced journey from Delhi to Jaipur.
The tour opens with two days in Delhi, covering the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, and Humayun's Tomb, before continuing to Agra for the Taj Mahal at sunset — one of the most photographed views in the world — and the red sandstone ramparts of Agra Fort.
From Agra, a night in Bharatpur allows a proper visit to the UNESCO-listed Keoladeo National Park, with its 370+ recorded bird species, before the tour's wildlife centrepiece: two full days and four jeep safaris in Ranthambhore National Park, one of India's premier tiger reserves, with the ancient Ranthambhore Fort rising within the park itself.
The journey concludes with two days in Jaipur — the Pink City — taking in Amber Fort, the City Palace, and the Hawa Mahal, alongside an evening of Rajasthani folk culture and dinner at Chokhi Dhani village.

Welcome to India! Your representative meets you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. The afternoon is free to explore Connaught Place or simply settle in after your flight.
A full day across Old and New Delhi. The Red Fort — a UNESCO World Heritage Mughal fortress in red sandstone. Qutub Minar — a 73-metre 12th-century minaret, the tallest brick minaret in the world. Humayun's Tomb — the architectural blueprint for the Taj Mahal, set within formal Mughal gardens.
Drive to Agra (200 km, ~3–4 hrs). Visit Agra Fort — a UNESCO World Heritage Mughal stronghold of red sandstone. As the afternoon light softens, visit the Taj Mahal for sunset — the marble glowing amber and rose as the day ends, one of the most photographed scenes in the world.
Morning at leisure or an optional second Taj Mahal visit at sunrise. Drive to Bharatpur (55 km, ~1.5 hrs). Check in, then head into Keoladeo National Park (UNESCO World Heritage) for an afternoon cycle-rickshaw or boat tour through the wetlands — painted storks, herons, and (in season) migratory birds from Siberia and Central Asia.
Drive to Ranthambhore (180 km, ~4 hrs). Check in to your jungle lodge. Afternoon jeep safari into one of Ranthambhore's zones for your first chance at a tiger sighting.
A full day in Ranthambhore's forest. Dawn jeep safari for the best tiger activity. Visit Ranthambhore Fort, the 10th-century citadel within the park, often part of the safari route. Afternoon jeep safari into a different zone for a fresh chance at sightings.
Optional morning safari before checkout. Drive to Jaipur (160 km, ~3 hrs). Arrive by lunchtime — afternoon free to explore the old walled city's bazaars and pink sandstone streets.
A full day in the Pink City. Amber Fort by jeep for the Sheesh Mahal and royal gardens. The City Palace, still home to the Jaipur royal family. The iconic Hawa Mahal. Evening: folk dance, puppet shows, and a traditional Rajasthani dinner at Chokhi Dhani village.
A relaxed final morning — perhaps last-minute shopping for Jaipur's famous block-printed textiles or blue pottery. Drive back to Delhi (280 km, ~5.5 hrs) for your departure flight, or fly out directly from Jaipur if your onward connections allow. Tour concludes.

This 9-day Taj & Tiger Tour ends in Jaipur and does not include Sariska Tiger Reserve, making it a shorter, more focused combination of Agra's Mughal heritage and Ranthambhore's tiger safaris. Our longer Rajasthan Wildlife Safari extends the circuit to include Sariska for a second tiger reserve, if you have an extra day or two available.
Yes — if Keoladeo's birdlife isn't a strong interest, we can remove this night and drive directly from Agra to Ranthambhore, shortening the tour to 8 days. Most travellers, however, find even a brief visit to the wetlands a worthwhile and very different experience from the rest of the trip.
No safari can guarantee a tiger sighting — this is wild nature, not a zoo. Ranthambhore has one of India's highest tiger densities, and with four safaris across two full days, your overall chances are excellent, alongside reliable sightings of leopards, sloth bears, and exceptional birdlife.
October to March is ideal — comfortable temperatures (15–28°C), clear skies, and the best conditions for sightseeing, fort treks, and wildlife safaris. April–June brings intense heat (up to 45°C); July–September is monsoon, with some relief from the heat but reduced safari access in the tiger reserves.
