Ridge-Top Views, the Sacred Ganges, Tiger Country & the Lake District — All in One Circuit

Seven days covering the complete breadth of what Uttarakhand offers — this is the itinerary for travellers who want one trip rather than four separate ones, moving logically from the western ridge of Mussoorie, down to the sacred Ganges at Haridwar, into the wildlife heartland of Corbett, and finishing in the Kumaon lake district at Nainital.

Mussoorie opens the tour with two nights — the Mall Road, Gun Hill cable car, Kempty Falls, and sweeping views over the Doon Valley to the Himalayan snow range beyond. The drive down to Haridwar brings the spiritual centrepiece of the journey: the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, one of India's most powerful ritual experiences, with an option to also visit Rishikesh's ashrams and Lakshman Jhula.

Two full nights in Corbett National Park — India's oldest national park and the birthplace of Project Tiger — give four jeep safaris across different zones, maximising your chances of spotting the Bengal tiger alongside elephants, leopards, and over 600 bird species along the Ramganga River.

The circuit concludes with a night in Nainital — Naini Lake boating, the Naina Devi Temple, and the colonial Mall Road — a relaxed final destination after the wildlife-focused days in Corbett. Seven days, four completely different Uttarakhand experiences, one seamless journey.

Your questions, answered

This itinerary is designed to give meaningful time at each stop without excessive driving — 2 nights in Mussoorie and Corbett (the two destinations that reward a longer stay), and 1 night each at Haridwar and Nainital (which work well as shorter, focused visits given their compact highlights). The total driving is reasonable — no single day exceeds 4-5 hours. If you'd prefer more time in any one destination, we can easily extend the itinerary to 8-9 days with an extra night wherever you choose.

Yes — we can restructure Day 3 to include a proper overnight in Rishikesh (ashram visits, optional white-water rafting, Ram Jhula) before continuing to Haridwar, adding one day to the total itinerary. This works particularly well if yoga, meditation, or rafting are priorities for you. Enquire for this customised 8-day version.

March–June: pleasant temperatures, rhododendrons in bloom, clear mountain views. September–November: post-monsoon clarity, the best Himalayan visibility of the year, crisp air. December–February: cold, occasional snow in Nainital/Mussoorie/Kausani, atmospheric but some activities limited. Avoid July–August (monsoon) — heavy rain, landslide risk on hill roads, and reduced visibility.

Absolutely — every tour is fully private and tailored to you. We can adjust duration, add Almora, Binsar, or a Char Dham extension. Enquire at no obligation.

Most of our tours include private vehicle transfers throughout from Delhi. Alternatively, Kathgodam (for Nainital/Corbett/Kumaon) and Haridwar/Dehradun (for Mussoorie/Rishikesh) have direct train connections from Delhi — a comfortable overnight or day train followed by a short drive is a popular option.

60+ days: full refund minus admin fee. 30–59 days: 75% refund. 15–29 days: 50%. Under 15 days: no refund. Travel insurance strongly recommended.
