Three Islands, Every Andaman Highlight — The Complete Circuit

Eight days that bring together every major Andaman destination into a single, comprehensive circuit — Port Blair's coral reefs and colonial history, the quiet, little-visited beaches of Neil Island, and a full two days at Havelock Island covering both Radha Nagar Beach and the Elephant Beach snorkelling excursion.

The tour opens with two nights in Port Blair: Corbyn's Cove Beach and a harbour cruise on arrival, followed by a full-day excursion to North Bay (Coral Island) for snorkelling and a nature walk on Ross Island amid the ruins of the former British administrative headquarters.

A ferry crossing brings you to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) — considerably quieter and less developed than Havelock, known for three distinctive beaches: Sitapur, Bharatpur, and Lakshmanpur, each with its own character. From Neil, a further ferry continues to Havelock Island for two full nights, taking in Radha Nagar Beach (Beach No. 7, consistently rated among Asia's finest) and a dedicated excursion to Elephant Beach for snorkelling among vivid coral reefs, reached by traditional dinghy boat.

The circuit concludes with a return to Port Blair for two further nights, including a full city tour taking in the Cellular Jail and its genuinely moving evening Sound and Light Show — the most complete short-format introduction to the Andaman Islands we offer.

Your questions, answered

Neil Island (officially Shaheed Dweep) is considerably smaller, quieter, and less developed than Havelock — there are no large resorts or crowds, just a handful of guesthouses and three distinctive beaches (Sitapur for sunrise, Bharatpur for calm swimming, and Lakshmanpur for sunset and dramatic rock formations). Many travellers who have visited both islands describe Neil as feeling like 'Havelock 15 years ago' — a peaceful contrast before the more lively Radha Nagar Beach experience.

Among our standard packages, yes — this 8-day circuit is our most comprehensive, covering all three of the Andamans' essential islands (Port Blair, Neil, and Havelock) with genuine time at each. If you have even more time available, we can extend this further to include Baratang Island's limestone caves and mud volcanoes, or additional days for diving certification at Havelock.

November to May is the ideal season — calm seas, excellent underwater visibility for snorkelling and diving, and pleasant temperatures (24–31°C). The monsoon (June–September/October) brings rough seas, reduced ferry reliability between islands, and limited water sports availability.

Port Blair's Veer Savarkar International Airport has direct daily flights from Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai (approximately 2–2.5 hours from most mainland cities). There is no road or rail access — flying is the only practical way to reach the islands.

Indian nationals require no special permit for Port Blair, Havelock (Swaraj Dweep), Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), and most tourist areas, just a valid photo ID. Foreign nationals receive a free Restricted Area Permit (RAP) automatically on arrival at Port Blair Airport, valid for 30 days — no advance application needed for most nationalities.

Absolutely. Every Discover India tour is fully private and built around your preferences. We can extend any island, add scuba diving certification courses, or adjust the order of stops. Submit an enquiry and our specialists will tailor it for you at no obligation.

Cancellations 60+ days before departure receive a full refund minus a small admin fee. 30–59 days: 75% refund. 15–29 days: 50% refund. Under 15 days: no refund. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, particularly given the inter-island ferry dependency on weather.

October to March is ideal — comfortable temperatures (15–28°C), clear skies, and the best conditions for sightseeing, fort treks, and wildlife safaris. April–June brings intense heat (up to 45°C); July–September is monsoon, with some relief from the heat but reduced safari access in the tiger reserves.

Absolutely. Every Discover India tour is fully private and built around your preferences. We can adjust the duration, swap destinations, change hotel categories, or add extensions. Submit an enquiry and our specialists will redesign the itinerary for you at no obligation.

We include carefully selected 4-star and 5-star hotels throughout — heritage havelis, palace hotels, and well-appointed properties near the wildlife reserves, all personally vetted by our team. Upgrades to palace hotels or luxury tented camps are available on request.

Most nationalities can apply for an Indian e-Visa online at indianvisaonline.gov.in. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days and costs $25–$80 USD depending on your nationality. Apply at least 2 weeks before travel.
