Detailed Itinerary
Arrive at Delhi International Airport. On arrival at Delhi Airport client(s) will be received by our representative. Later Transfer to the hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Delhi domestic airport for your flight to Varanasi.
Arrive Varanasi Airport, Our Chauffer will meet you and transfer you to hotel. After some rest at hotel, start your sightseeing tour with visit to Sarnath. After attaining enlightenment at Bodhgaya, Buddha delivered his first sermon at Sarnath. Visit Chaukhandi Stupa, Sarnath Museum and Buddhist temples built by various countries. Later in the evening drive to Dashashwamedh Ghat to attend the prayer ceremony of Holy Ganges. "Ganga Aarti" is one of the famous and must visit event on the banks of Holy Ganges. After prayer ceremony return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Early morning at sunrise will will take you for a Boat Ride on Ganges. The 1 Hrs boat ride will take you through various Ghats of Ganges and you can observe the way of life of locals along the banks of river Ganges. You will see people taking dip in the holy ganges, performing rituals and worshiping Sun. After boat ride you can visit Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple - one of the 12th Jyotirlings of Lord Shiva. Also Visit Annapurna Temple and Kal Bhairav Temple. Return back to hotel for breakfast. Checkout from Hotel and proceed for Sightseeing tour of Varanasi - Visit Banaras Hindu University, New Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir and Bharat Mata Mandir. Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Morning transfer to the Varanasi airport for your flight to Khajuraho. On arrival at Khajuraho airport, transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure or You can enjoy Light and Sound Show at Temple Complex (at your own cost).
After Breakfast we take you for day tour of Eastern and Western group of temples built by Chandela Kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD. Khajuraho temples represent some of the most exquiste specimen of Hindu architecture and sculpture. Today only 25 of the orignal 85 temples remain. The most important are Chaunset Yogini Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, The Mahadev Temple, Chitragupta temple, Lakshamana Temple and Parsvanath Temple.
This morning you will be transferred by road to Orchha. Arrive and check in at hotel. Orchha has three beautiful palaces within the fort complex, Raj Mahal and Rai Praveen Mahal. Jahangir Mahal, Also visit Ram Raja Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Phool Bagh, Shahid Smarak, etc.
After breakfast checkout and drive to Gwalior. Arrive and check-in at hotel. Afternoon visit the Gwalior Fort. One of the most invincible forts in India, this imposing citadel, has changed many hands, but has rarely been captured. Rising 100m above the town, the fort hill is about 3km in length. Also visit the Sun Temple, Tomb of Tansen “father of Indian classical music and one of the nine Gems in Akbar's court” and Mausoleums of Ghaus Mohammed. Evening free for independent activities.
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Agra. Upon arrival at Agra, checkin at hotel. Afternoon visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Evening at sunset visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
Drive to Jaipur(250 Kms, 5 Hrs Drive) en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Arrive Jaipur “Fantasy in Pink”, is capital of Rajasthan and an all season destination. On arrival check - in to the hotel. Evening is free to explore the bustling bazaars of the city. Jaipur is a shopper’s paradise.
Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas.
Morning after breakfast checkout and Drive to Delhi (290 Kms, 6 Hrs). Upon arrival Checkin at Hotel. Rest Day free for leisure. The evening gives you the option of enjoying the Sound & light show at the red fort or at leisure.
In the first half we visit the Ancient (OLD) parts of Delhi covering the Red fort, Jama Masjid & Chandni Chowk. We drive towards Connaught place - the blooming heart of New Delhi via Raj Ghat. The second half takes you through the Modern (NEW) parts of Delhi covering the India Gate, President House and Sansad Bhavan. Evening transfer to Airport to board flight to onward journey.
