Detailed Itinerary
Arrive Leh Airport and Transfer to Hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. Relax for the rest of the day to enable yourselves to acclimatize to the rarefied air at the high altitude. Lunch & dinner at the hotel.
Morning we will start our drive to Lamayuru through Sham Valley along with Indus River. Upon arrival at Lamayuru visit Lamayuru monastery. Later we will pack the backpacks and start the first day trek. Follow the stream and move up to Prinkti La (3750m). From the pass walk down to Shilla Village and then proceed to Wanla.
AStart the trek by following the left bank if the river and reach Phenjilla (3410m). Continue the trek from the left side of the valley for around 1 hrs and reach the village of Ursi. Walk to the campsite.
From Tarla Base Camp the trail is clear but challenging as we have to trek up and down few times to reach Tarla (5250m). After reaching Tarla you will be amazed by beautiful views of Himalayan mountain range. Climb down further for three hours to reach the campsite at Tar village.
Start an easy decent to Man Gyu village along the mountainside. Upon arrival at village visit ancient monastery and traditional Ladakhi house.
Start your walk downwards to a beautiful valley with rosebushes along the trek. Arrive at village of Gera where our vehicles will be waiting for us. Board vehicle and drive back to Leh. Enrote visit Alchi and Likir monastery, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Hall of fame. Arrive Leh.
Morning after early breakfast transfer to Leh airport to board your flight for onward journey.
