Detailed Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Delhi/Chandigarh Airport, our representative will meet you at exit gate holding a placard of your name. He will transfer you hotel by car.
Chandigarh - The first planned city of India and is a gateway to Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh located on the foothills of Shivalik rage of Himalayas. Arrive and Checkin at hotel. Afternoon enjoy sightseeing tour covering Sukhna Lake a man made reservoir and is visited by many migratory birds, enjoy boating at the lake (at your own cost); Rock Garden founded by Mr Nek Chand landscaped with rock sculpture of animals, dancers, musicians and pottery; Rose Garden – a botanical garden with many varieties of rose and other medicinal herbs; International Doll Museum established in 1985 and houses dolls and puppets from over 25 different countries. Return back to hotel in the evening.
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Manali – a paradise in the lap of Himalayan mountain rage is visited by thousands of travellers from India and abroad for romantic, nature and adventure vacations. Arrive Manali and check-in at hotel. Rest of time free for relax. You can also take a stroll at winding lanes of Manali markets and enjoy shopping and taste local delicacies.
Breakfast at hotel, later enjoy sightseeing tour of Manali covering – Solang Valley known for adventure sports, you can take part in skiing, paragliding, parachuting etc., Hadimba temple surrounded by thick deodar forest and is primarily made of wood dedicated to Hidimba wife of the Pandava Bhim, Vashist Hot Water springs famous for its natural sulphur hot water springs, you can also visit stone temple dedicated to saint Vashista.
After early breakfast at hotel, start you excursion to Rohtang Pass lies at an altitude of 13100 Feet above sea level. This pass is covered by snow round the year and is gateway to Ladakh. The pass is accessible only for few months in summers. One can enjoy the picturesque views of the valley and can enjoy amateur skiing, snowboarding or just play with snow balls. You can click some beautiful pictures here. Return back to Manali in the afternoon. Rest of the day free to relax at hotel.
After breakfast checkout and drive to Dharamsala - A picturesque hill station of Himchal Pradesh surrounded by deodar and cedar trees. It is also an important Buddhist town due to the seat of 14th Dali Lama of Tibet. Arrive Dharamsala and check-in at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel followed for sightseeing tour of Daharamsala. We will cover Kangra Museum, Kangra Fort, Dal Lake, Bhagsu temple complex, which comprises of ancient Shiva temple, fresh water springs & water fall, Buddhist Monastery and St John Church. Afternoon checkout and drive to Amritsar – an important spiritual and cultural centre of Sikh religion and is home to the Harmandir Sahib also known as Golden temple. Arrive and check-in at hotel. Evening free to relax at hotel.
Morning after breakfast, proceed for Amritsar city tour - Visit Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) – the pride of Sikh religion; Jallianwala Bagh a public ground where memorial established to commemorate the martyrs of the 1919 massacre; the Durgiana temple – Built in 1908 and looks like a replica of Golden temple dedicated to goddess Durga. Return back to hotel in the afternoon. After some rest drive to the Indo – Pak Wagah Border located around 32 Kms from Amritsar. Witness the nostalgic ceremony of change of Guard with march-past and patriotic songs followed by National Anthem. Return back to hotel in the evening.
Breakfast at your hotel. Later checkout and drive to Amritsar Airport / Station for onward Journey.
